# macOS

Run this after the explicit latest stable release-tag checkout and recursive submodule initialization described in [Build Overview](/nodes-and-builds/compiling-from-source.md). Intel macOS is not claimed as release-validated by this track. The historical Qt workaround is retired; use [GUI Build](/nodes-and-builds/compiling-from-source/gui.md) for GUI dependencies.
